Child Care Aide

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Child Care Aide to join our OST Youth Programs team. The successful candidate will assist in the setup and implementation of child care programs, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in setting up child care locations and environments for daily program events and activities.
- Implement and monitor activities to ensure participant and staff safety, adherence to program rules and guidelines, and quality of service.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide exceptional support to students and families.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- No previous experience required, but six months of experience working with school-aged youth or directly related work experience is preferred.
- First Aid certification required within three months of hire.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for an 'Aide' under Minnesota DHS licensing requirements for child care centers.
- Competitive hourly rate of $14.25 to $16.40 per hour, plus $1.75 per hour through MN DHS Grant funds.
