Job Summary

This position is a Clinical Therapist within the Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Services team at Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN). We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional to provide direct and indirect clinical services to children and adolescents in need of mental health care.

About the Role:
- Provides direct and indirect clinical services to children and adolescents in need of mental health care.
- Responsible for the provision of age-appropriate care, including crisis assessment, intake assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, team/community collaboration, patient/family education, and triage/discharge planning.
- May provide flexible coverage to another service within Behavioral Health on a short-term basis.

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
- Licensure in the State of Connecticut as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LADC.
- Minimum one year experience in family therapy with the age group served, preferably in the Behavioral Health Field.
- Training and/or familiarity with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), abuse and neglect reporting, duty-to-warn mandates, community-based resources, and pre-authorization and billing processes preferred.
