Mental Health Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at ECHN. As a Clinician III, Adult Ambulatory Behavioral Health, you will provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care. Your primary responsibility will be to treat clients with compassion and respect, providing age-appropriate care while maintaining a caring and compassionate environment through the Core Values of Teamwork, Communication, Respect, and Caring.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree and Connecticut licensure as a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). You should also possess strong clinical skills, including a demonstrated team orientation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and knowledge of community-based resources are preferred.
Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:
- Active participation in individual or group clinical supervision
- Conceptualization and organization of data from a definite theoretical perspective
- Knowledge and respect for cultural differences in treatment approach
- Generation and dissemination of accurate clinical case formulation and information
- Conveyance of warmth, genuineness, and empathy, respecting patients as whole people with strengths and needs
- Establishment of shared outcome and process goals with patients
- Obtaining required releases of information and networking with community providers
