Job DescriptionAs a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting crisis assessments, intake assessments, and treatment planning
- Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborating with the Adult Ambulatory Coordinator and/or Director of the Service to ensure seamless care coordination
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology)
- Connecticut licensure as a LCSW, LADC, LPC, or LMFT
- Strong clinical skills, including crisis assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic relationships
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
