The People Operations Department at Brilliant Corners is pivotal in structuring our organization to meet its business objectives by effectively managing our most valuable asset—our employees.

Key functions of People Operations encompass talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll and benefits, people management, compliance, and organizational development.

Position Summary

The People Operations Partner plays a crucial role in supporting our statewide organization and leadership team.

In collaboration with the HR Manager, you will assist in implementing the Talent Strategy and HR initiatives that align with Brilliant Corners' business goals.

This role involves fostering internal business partnerships and spearheading projects that advance the organization's strategic aims.

Success in this position hinges on your ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with senior leadership and employees across all levels.

Key success factors include the capacity to drive change, challenge existing norms, and propose innovative solutions to meet business needs.

Additionally, the People Operations Partner should possess a strong understanding of California Employment law and remain informed about relevant regulations.


You will excel in this role if you have a knack for building relationships within a diverse workforce.

This position emphasizes employee relations and strategic thinking, always prioritizing the best interests of both the employees and the organization.

Position Responsibilities

- Conduct regular meetings with business unit leaders.

- Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, ensuring thorough and objective investigations.

- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, minimizing legal risks, and ensuring compliance. Collaborate with legal counsel as necessary.

- Provide ongoing performance management guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Act as a strategic partner for business units across all program functions.

- Support People Operations initiatives, projects, and objectives, working closely with the organizational development and talent acquisition teams.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements


Candidates should possess the physical mobility to perform tasks such as standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, and walking on uneven surfaces. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually. This position is offered at $90,000 - $100,000 annually.
