About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at the Santa Fe Recovery Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission standards, CARF, and COA standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in operations meetings and contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in leadership, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT) and experience in HR management, accounting, inventory management, and financial responsibility.
  • Must have and maintain a current, valid NM driver's license and a clean driving record.
