Job Title: Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Santa Fe Recovery Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and billing.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards, CARF, and other accrediting body standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or other related field required; MHA or MBA preferred.
  • Over a year's experience in nurse leadership preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT).
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated progressive nursing experience in leadership with experience in HR Management, accounting, inventory management, and financial responsibility, preferably in a residential treatment and outpatient setting.
  • The ideal candidate will be familiar with The Joint Commission standards, CARF and/or COA standards, healthcare operations, and medical billing and terminology.
