Job Title: Director of Nursing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department at Santa Fe Recovery Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission standards, CARF, and other accrediting body standards.
- Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining a high level of patient care.
- Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in leadership, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
- Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT) and experience with The Joint Commission standards, CARF, and other accrediting body standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a highly structured environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
