Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other leaders to develop and implement strategic plans for the nursing department.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care, including developing and implementing care plans, monitoring patient outcomes, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission and CARF standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or other related field required; MHA or MBA preferred.
  • Over a year's experience in nurse leadership preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT).
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated progressive nursing experience in leadership with experience in HR Management, accounting, inventory management, and financial responsibility, preferably in a residential treatment and outpatient setting.
