About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Santa Fe Recovery Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CARF and The Joint Commission standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and achieving financial targets.
  • Participate in operations meetings and contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in leadership, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT) and experience in HR Management, accounting, inventory management, and financial responsibility.
  • Ability to lead and instruct others, communicate effectively, and maintain a highly structured environment.
  • Working knowledge of workflow and scheduling, and the ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.
