Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and services.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CARF and The Joint Commission standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and achieving financial targets.
- Participate in operations meetings and contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan.
- Registered Nurse with a Baccalaureate degree or higher in nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in leadership, preferably in a residential treatment setting.
- Knowledge of medically assisted alcohol and drug treatment (MAT) and experience in HR Management, accounting, inventory management, and financial responsibility.
- Ability to lead and instruct others, communicate effectively, and maintain a highly structured environment.
- Working knowledge of workflow and scheduling, and the ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.
