Job Title: Credit Specialist

At First Citizens Bank, we're seeking a highly skilled Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate production of loan approval packages for our Global Fund Banking (GFB) portfolio management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation of all credit packages for new and existing facilities, including compilation of exhibits and drop-down fields.
  • Creation of all amendments to in-flight credit packages.
  • Engagement with internal partners for all credit actions and serving as a liaison for questions or issues.
  • Basic credit projections.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of financial services or professional experience, or High School diploma or GED with 2-5 years of financial services experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across business levels.
  • Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to identify and correct errors in data.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
