Position Summary:

We are in search of a Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to enhance our presence in the Texas market by managing a select group of broker relationships.

Reporting Structure:

This role will report directly to the President or a designated member of the Executive Committee, as appointed by the CEO. The primary focus will be on driving revenue growth by achieving sales objectives while overseeing a network of up to 50 brokerages in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve premium production targets, encompassing both new business acquisition and renewal retention.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative approach with underwriting to ensure a seamless experience for broker partners.
  • Lead annual business planning sessions with each broker, conducting periodic performance reviews and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Act as the proactive representative of the company, delivering timely communications regarding company news, product appetite, and other relevant updates.
  • Provide training and education on our products, services, and technology to broker partners.
  • Foster relationships through business sessions, association meetings, and promotional events.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights, providing strategic recommendations to enhance our competitive positioning.
  • Oversee broker prospecting, appointments, and terminations, ensuring efficient sales operations.
  • Identify and execute strategies for book acquisition and management.
  • Utilize and manage broker performance metrics effectively.
  • Administer and optimize the use of a CRM database.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on customer relations, E&S underwriting, and team management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance workflows, compliance requirements, and E&S market conditions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with negotiation skills.
  • Proven understanding of regional markets and competitive landscapes.
  • Ability to maintain composure and positive energy under pressure.
