About the Role

TRC Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Title Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Land Acquisition and Title team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis of property ownership and title records to ensure accurate and compliant acquisition of land and easements for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of property ownership and title records to identify potential issues and risks
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Land Representatives and Research Specialists, to ensure seamless execution of land acquisition projects
  • Prepare and review easement documents, including title reports and survey drawings
  • Negotiate with landowners and tenants to secure permission to enter properties and acquire necessary easements
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions and communications
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in title research and acquisition, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law and regulations, including property valuation and surveying
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build relationships with landowners and stakeholders
