Job Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled OESS Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical controls systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical controls systems for manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for electrical controls systems
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical controls issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical controls systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and safety controllers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
