Job Description:

As a Sr. Controls Engineer, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems.

You will join our Control System Integration Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients.

Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

Be a motivated, high energy, well-organized, collaborative Sr. Controls Engineer who will design, program and implement control systems for our clients in the food & beverage, life science, or advanced technology sectors.

Assume accountability for project execution including team leadership, project scope, quality of deliverables, budget and schedule.

Maintain and grow solid client relationships.

Design automation control systems, create project documentation and drawings to meet client requirements.

Program PLCs (Rockwell) and HMI/SCADAs (FactoryTalk, Ignition, Wonderware).

Participate in various automation project phases including installation, checkout and start-up.

Mentor and share knowledge with other controls engineers.

Troubleshoot control systems.

Demonstrate the ability to successfully execute multiple project responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening relationships with our clients and team.

A minimum of eight years of direct experience as a controls engineer working on automated processes/system integration in a food, beverage, consumer health product, or other industrial manufacturing environment.

A track record of proficiency in control systems, troubleshooting, and working in high intensity environments.

Experience in the design and implementation of control system architectures (PLC, HMI, industrial networks, and related automation hardware/software).

A solid understanding of industrial control panel design and fabrication (UL508A).

Engineering consulting experience (preferred).

The ability to successfully interact with clients.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

A willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions.

A Bachelor of Science in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering, or a related degree (preferred).
