Job Responsibilities:
- The Senior Analyst in Business Risk and Control is a highly experienced professional role.
- Utilizes extensive disciplinary knowledge to enhance processes and workflows within the function.
- Integrates expertise across various subject matters to achieve departmental objectives.
- Evaluates complex issues with significant potential impact, balancing various alternatives and conflicting situations.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills to prioritize and validate complex information from diverse sources.
- Exhibits excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
- Regularly takes on leadership roles within teams.
- Involved in mentoring and training new team members.
- Influences project decisions through expert advice and facilitation.
- Individual performance directly impacts team outcomes.
- Coordinate governance and facilitate the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) as per the MCA Standard.
- Contribute to the quality and accuracy of the Control Framework implementation, including Risk Control Policy and Control Standards.
- Support root cause analysis of issues, collaborating with control and process owners to recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing the Lessons Learned Policy, monitoring control breaches, and sharing insights for process improvement.
- Influence the review process for effective control design and management to mitigate risks.
- Conduct analyses to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the MCA.
- Support adherence to the MCA Standard through post-execution controls.
- Contribute to Operational and Compliance Risk management as per established policies.
- Identify and manage risk exposures across various categories.
- Perform analyses to support Risk Appetite and monitor exposures.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of Operational and Compliance Risk events.
- Analyze risks associated with new activities and business changes.
- Support operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Ensure risk and control responsibilities are integrated within business units.
- Implement standards and procedures to support effective risk management.
- Apply business knowledge to identify and implement control processes.
- Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with workflow systems.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building and management skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
