Job Overview

The role of a Traffic Control Specialist is crucial in construction environments to ensure safe passage for both workers and the public. This position involves managing traffic flow and mitigating risks associated with construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of construction personnel and the general public by effectively directing traffic.
  • Handle the presence of emergency vehicles and coordinate pedestrian movement.
  • Implement appropriate flagging techniques, procedures, and utilize necessary equipment and attire.

Flaggers must be prepared for prolonged periods of standing and walking as part of their duties.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Flagger certification is required.
  • Completion of OSHA 30 training is mandatory.
