Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner/Patient Transport

Join our team at Children's Health as a Respiratory Care Practitioner/Patient Transport, where you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care during inter-hospital transport. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for assessing and stabilizing patients, performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with fellow team members to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete physical assessments and identify abnormal findings
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including medication administration, IV access, and ventilator management
  • Communicate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with transport team members to ensure safe and efficient patient transport
  • Document patient care and transport information in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • State of Texas RCP license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least 3 years of job category-specific experience
  • At least 3 years of critical care experience
