We are currently in search of a Strategic Business Analyst to become an integral part of our client team, working remotely.
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in business analysis, a robust understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and expertise in utilizing remote collaboration tools.
This individual will excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously and will have the capability to produce accurate functional requirements documentation.

This position is exclusively available to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.Responsibilities:
1. Gather requirements through various methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
2. Draft clear and concise requirements specifications following standard templates, and represent requirements using alternative views where necessary.
3. Break down high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements with adequate detail for the development team.
4. Identify current and future-state business processes, defining quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and nonfunctional requirements.
5. Lead requirements analysis and verification to ensure completeness, consistency, clarity, traceability, feasibility, unambiguity, and verifiability.
6. Engage in requirements prioritization and facilitate negotiations among various stakeholders.
7. Analyze and document business requirements and data to deliver work products throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Coordinate Business Validation to ensure end-to-end business processes operate as intended.
9. Collaborate with the product manager or project sponsor to document the product's vision and project scope.
10. Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents to ensure accurate interpretation.
11. Manage requirements traceability and monitor requirements status throughout the project.
12. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
13. Facilitate effective communication between clients, stakeholders, and the development team to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Business Analysis.
2. At least one (1) year of experience utilizing remote collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, SharePoint, etc.
3. Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
4. Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
5. Familiarity with various project methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
6. Ability to create precise functional requirements documents, including user stories, diagrams, process flows, RACI, and other necessary documentation.

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
4. Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.
5. Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation.

Desired Skills:
1. Experience with projects in environmental or scientific domains.
2. Familiarity with applications used for tracking and analyzing data.
3. Knowledge of internal hosting and migration of vendor-hosted applications.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of Business Analysis experience.
At least one (1) year of experience using remote collaboration tools.
Experience working with complex and scientific internal custom applications, particularly in data analysis and reporting contexts.
Benefits:
Expleo offers a competitive compensation package for full-time roles. The pay range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; 3 weeks PTO, and 401k retirement savings.
