Senior Business Analyst Job Description

AgriBank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business initiatives and projects by analyzing complex business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business analysis artifacts to document "as-is" and "to-be" requirements and business process plans.
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate business needs of stakeholders, customers, and end users.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
  • Identify and communicate risks and issues to the Principal Project Manager.
  • Organize and synthesize large amounts of information provided by stakeholders.
  • Lead documentation requirements for traceability and future use.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or information technology preferred.
  • 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of Farm Credit systems and/or banking desired.
  • Knowledge of Business Analytics methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of current and new technologies as well as best practices.
Skills:
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to identify and document needs and detailed requirements.
  • High level of organizational skills including organizing material and information in a systematic way to optimize efficiency.
  • Listening and conveying awareness of business problems or issues to find resolution.
  • Analyzing problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with all stakeholders.
