About the Role

Gaylor Electric is seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning, managing, and executing corporate events that align with our company's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Management:
    • Develop and implement event strategies and concepts that align with our company's goals and objectives.
    • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and transportation, to ensure seamless execution.
    • Create detailed event proposals, timelines, and budgets that meet our company's standards.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of events and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • On-site Event Supervision:
    • Oversee all aspects of event setup, execution, and teardown to ensure a high-quality experience for attendees.
    • Manage event staff and volunteers, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and executed.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with our marketing team to promote events and increase attendance through various channels.
  • Post-Event Evaluation:
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement, and prepare detailed reports and analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
