Technique Solutions Inc is excited to present an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer. We are currently looking for dedicated professionals to fill roles as both a Day Shift Engineer and a Shift Electrical Engineer within our client's facility.
This position offers a permanent contract with a unique shift pattern of 5 days on followed by 5 days off, including day shifts from 6am to 6pm and night shifts from 6pm to 6am.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical engineering tasks adhering to high standards, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize production interruptions.
- Execute safe temporary repairs when production constraints are present, while coordinating with the Shift Leader for permanent solutions during downtime.
- Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers as needed, fostering teamwork.
- Maintain all tools in optimal working condition, ensuring they are suitable for their intended use.
- Document job reports and tickets at the end of each shift.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities to established standards.
- Ensure all components utilized are properly accounted for in inventory.
- Report any unusual engineering incidents to the Shift Leader.
- Adhere to current health and safety regulations and the company's PPE policies.
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by the Shift Leader and Engineering/Senior Management.
