POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is integral to the administration of housing assistance programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Administration of Housing Assistance Payments:

Responsible for overseeing the management of Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) Contracts, ensuring adherence to ACC, federal laws, and HUD regulations. This includes reviewing monthly payment processes and addressing discrepancies with management.


2. Payment Processing:

Facilitates the issuance of subsidy payments through various methods such as Check, ACH, and Debit Card. Ensures accuracy in payment records and compliance with HAP contracts.


3. Quality Improvement Reviews:

Conducts evaluations to identify key performance indicators for Housing Choice Voucher staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery to program participants. Prepares internal reports for quality control and compliance verification.


4. Voucher and Invoice Review:

Samples and assesses vouchers and invoices for proper account posting, recommending adjustments as necessary. Oversees the reissuance of checks and investigates returned payments.


5. Accounts Receivable Management:

Monitors the collection of accounts receivable from landlords, maintaining communication to resolve payment issues and prevent fraud. Engages in recovery efforts to minimize financial losses.


6. Record Maintenance:

Maintains comprehensive and organized records in compliance with program and governmental policies. Responds to data requests and inquiries in a timely manner.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in meetings and training sessions as required. Completes other related duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field, along with four years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Strong understanding of accounting principles, office procedures, and compliance regulations. Proficient in computer operations and modern office equipment. Excellent organizational and customer service skills are essential.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position may involve exposure to various office environments and requires the ability to perform physical tasks as necessary.

$60,000 - $65,000 per year
