About the Role

Averity is seeking a seasoned IT leader to fill the role of Director of Enterprise Applications. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to deliver a modern suite of applications that support our lawyers in delivering exceptional legal services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical vision and leadership to design, implement, and maintain a modern suite of software tools that support the delivery of legal services to clients.
  • Cloud Migration: Be the visionary in the migration of our legal applications from on-premises to the cloud, leveraging Azure, Office 365, and legal add-ins.
  • Enterprise Software Configuration: Provide technical expertise to optimally configure enterprise software, including MS Office and legal add-in products, PDF, document management software, collaboration tools, and specialized applications for practices and individual users.
  • Application Stability and Performance: Set and uphold firm standards for maintaining stability and performance of applications.
  • Software Solutions Evaluation: Seek out, evaluate, and propose enhancements, updates, and new software solutions.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in delivering and supporting enterprise applications in a law firm.
  • 5+ years of management experience at a top law firm.
  • Expertise in MS-Office Suite and legal industry add-ins, collaboration platforms, and document management systems.
  • Demonstrable experience leading successful large-scale migrations to M365 and hosted document management systems.
  • Experience and understanding of user identity and application security models; securely integrating disparate systems.
