Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Global Risk and Resilience to lead our Global Risk & Resilience team. This critical role will define the strategic direction and manage day-to-day operations of our crisis management, operational resilience, and emerging operational risk programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crisis Management: Coordinate and manage enterprise response to crisis events, identifying potential implications and leading cross-functional teams to remediate critical incidents.
  • Strategic Direction: Establish the strategic direction of crisis management and operational resilience programs, ensuring all teams maintain and iterate on local-level incident management protocols.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance to the Operational Resilience team on business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Product, Support, and Security teams on incident response plans and playbooks, facilitating table tops and after-action reviews.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Crisis Experience: 10+ years in crisis and incident management, preferably in a high-technology environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Effective in building trusted relationships, handling high-pressure projects, and setting priorities.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Google Cloud (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), SANS incident response methodologies, and Fusion Framework or Salesforce.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or equivalent military experience preferred.
