About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. As a key member of our Enterprise and Data Center Sales teams, you will be responsible for selling and promoting Amphenol products within assigned territories and defined accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales leadership and work closely with Field Applications Engineers and Business Units to drive revenue growth and expansion into new markets.
  • Promote and sell Amphenol products to established customers and develop new prospects through successful design win activities and total channel management.
  • Identify interconnect opportunities and applications for Amphenol products, working closely with customer engineering teams to design in new products.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and growth strategies for territories and customers, meeting and exceeding strategic objectives and sales quotas.
  • Motivate existing and potential customers to increase product content on designs, providing technical support and resolving complex interconnect problems.
  • Support the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including marketing support for product development and implementation.
  • Track orders and revenue by customer, building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Travel required to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with business/marketing aptitude or a Bachelor's in Business with relevant work experience in a technical sales field.
  • 5+ years of field sales and applications experience, or related experience in inside sales or customer service with interconnect, passive, electromechanical components.
  • Strong sales skills, technical acumen, and ability to effectively communicate across engineering and managerial functions.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new customers and markets.
  • Leadership skills to assess and drive new opportunities in a global account environment.

What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $91,800 - $174,240 annually, plus participation in our comprehensive benefits program, annual incentive bonus program, and company vehicle.
