Power Transformer Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Specialist for Power Transformers to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Technical Sales Support team, you will be responsible for developing techno-commercial proposals for power transformers in our target markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the proposal process from receipt of the request for quotation to final proposal submission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and planning, to provide input and ensure a comprehensive proposal.
- Structure pricing matrices and progress proposals for internal approval.
- Support colleagues during customer negotiations and ensure a smooth handover of projects to the execution team.
- Monitor bid project status and communicate effectively with the project team and collaborating departments.
- Participate in project negotiations with the sales team and represent the company's offer as a quotation project manager.
- Ensure the efficient management of bid processes and continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Maintain data collections on costs, cost structures, and developments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics preferred) with relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Sales, Proposals, or Application Engineering in Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in an international environment with diverse teams and company cultures.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Travel up to 15%.
- Must be located or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC USA area.
