About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Grid Technology division, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative solutions for power transformers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components for power transformers, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy design rules and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, electrical design, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design reviews, technical reports, and justifications for customers.
  • Work closely with global engineering teams to execute projects and drive innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, including IEEE, ANSI, and IEC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
  • Five or more years of experience as a mechanical design engineer in the field of power transformers.
  • Strong conceptual knowledge and working experience of mechanical designing of transformers.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, PDM software, and software tools to create Bill of materials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
