Transformer Winder

We are seeking a skilled Winder to join our team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in the production of windings for our large power transformers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Winding disc or helical coils for large power transformers based on technical designs and drawings
• Documentation and quality checks of the process progress
• Planning and reviewing tasks to be carried out according to pre-established production plans and manufacturing standards

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent with relevant technical training/experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the winding process for transformers
• Ability to use math, read and interpret sophisticated drawings, and perform complex measurements
• Applicant must be able to obtain Keys certification test on reading and writing and Blueprint reading test offered by local community college
• Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift License and a Critical Lift level crane license and certification for working in heights
• Effective communication and social skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
