As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment, and for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain large production machines, attachments, and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Machine PM Records: Manage and maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs, including schedules and completion dates.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair production machines, including injection molding machines, to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Safety regulations, and maintain accurate documentation of all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cell members to diagnose and repair issues, and work with quality to develop corrective actions to prevent future problems.
  • Leadership: Manage a team of maintenance technicians, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Management: Write performance appraisals and corrective actions for maintenance technicians, and handle staffing issues, including call-ins, vacations, and overtime.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, including budgeting and timelines, to ensure that maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the Injection Molding Industry, or similar industry.
  • Skills: Experience in PLCs, Hydraulics, and machine repairs is a plus, and the ability to lift 50 lbs is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Certifications: Experience with ISO9001 requirements is a plus.
