Blue Origin: Shaping the Future of Space Exploration
\We aim to make space travel safe, efficient, and accessible to millions. Our team is dedicated to creating reusable vehicles and systems that enable a new era of space exploration.
\This role is part of our Lunar Permanence business unit, focusing on establishing sustainable infrastructure for crew and cargo transport between Earth and the lunar surface.
\Main Responsibilities:\- \
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and scripts for the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB)\
- Formal Verification and Validation Testing: Conduct rigorous testing and document results according to program requirements\
- Integration Support: Collaborate with teams to integrate vehicle hardware, ground support equipment, operator consoles, and analysis tooling\
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware and software issues in a lab environment\
- Automation and Efficiency: Design, develop, and implement VTB test tools and software to streamline testing processes\
- Design and System Reviews: Participate in reviews to provide feedback on integration and testability throughout project phases\
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues\
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals\
- Maintenance and Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and tools\

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\
- At least 2 years of experience in integrating and testing vehicle systems\
- Experience with special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting\
- Proficient in standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment\
- \
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems\
- Programming experience in C++ and/or Python, Simulink\

Compensation Range: $109,980 - $153,972 annually (dependent on location)
