At Blue Origin, we are pioneering the future of space exploration, and we need talented individuals like you to help us achieve our goals. As an Avionics Software Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing software components for our reusable rockets.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop test cases and test procedures for verification of safety-critical, real-time embedded avionics software
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues to improve performance and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety and certification standards for critical systems
  • Integrate new technologies and new methodologies to enhance development processes and product capabilities

Compensation Package:

$140,000 - $200,000 per year, plus benefits

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
