Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator at Rod 'N' Reel Resort is responsible for providing administrative support to the human resources department. This role involves maintaining personnel records, performing administrative tasks, and supporting the hiring and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and file employee personnel data, ensuring confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding process by performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, and issuing onboarding paperwork and employment contracts.
  • Assist in maintaining the orientation paperwork and presentation, and serve as a back-up presenter for new team member orientation.
  • Produce and submit reports from the HRIS system on general HR activities as requested, analyzing and presenting data in a readable format.
  • Collaborate with the HR manager and finance team to complete bi-weekly payroll.
  • Distribute and post company notices, maintaining standards of attendance and punctuality, and a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Support other functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Three or more years of Human Resources experience, with experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry a plus.
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS system.
  • Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
