Position Overview

The Breast Health Navigator Nurse serves as a vital link for referring healthcare providers, patients, and their families, offering essential resources and support in accessing both clinical and community-based care services. This role is instrumental in coordinating patient appointments, including those with laboratories, diagnostic facilities, and specialized medical professionals, to ensure a seamless continuum of care.

Essential Qualifications:

Professional Experience:

A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Previous experience in case management or a related field is preferred.

Licensure and Certification:

Must possess a current TX/Compact RN License. CPR certification is also required. Certification as a Breast Care Nurse (CBCN) is preferred.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
