About the Job:

We are looking for a Strategic Business Development Executive to join our team at Xometry. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and account development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling Xometry solutions to Fortune 500 customers
  • Supply chain focus with a majority of time invested in learning our business and aligning to customer strategic objectives
  • Initiating and building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management
  • Strategic planning and roadmapping for enterprise accounts
  • Setting up sales calls and presentations for company executives and engineers with prospective clients
  • Qualifying and converting potential leads
  • Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Ensuring data accuracy within the company's CRM or other sales management system
  • Representing the company in the best light
  • Proposing winning solutions and negotiating contract terms
  • Participating in ongoing training and mentoring programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • At least 6+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying closing sales role
  • At least 2+ years of experience selling into Fortune 500 companies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • High proficiency with virtual meetings and presentations with customers
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Experience with strategic sales planning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills and results-driven

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
