Strategic Business Development Executive

About the Job:
We are looking for a Strategic Business Development Executive to join our team at Xometry. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships and account development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling Xometry solutions to Fortune 500 customers
- Supply chain focus with a majority of time invested in learning our business and aligning to customer strategic objectives
- Initiating and building relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management
- Strategic planning and roadmapping for enterprise accounts
- Setting up sales calls and presentations for company executives and engineers with prospective clients
- Qualifying and converting potential leads
- Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Ensuring data accuracy within the company's CRM or other sales management system
- Representing the company in the best light
- Proposing winning solutions and negotiating contract terms
- Participating in ongoing training and mentoring programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 6+ years of sales experience in a quota-carrying closing sales role
- At least 2+ years of experience selling into Fortune 500 companies
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering preferred
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- High proficiency with virtual meetings and presentations with customers
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting
- CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems
- Experience with strategic sales planning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills and results-driven
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
