About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to lead the development of Kuiper ground systems engineering efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing software-related development efforts to support the production, installation, and monitoring of Kuiper ground systems equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Software Development teams, suppliers, and other Kuiper Engineering teams to ensure internal and external requirements are met for the development and production of Gateway and TT&C terminals.
  • Support the delivery of critical ground systems software in preparation for hardware delivery, launch, and deployment.
  • Work with industry-leading suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Create plans with clear, measurable success criteria and communicate progress and outcomes with leadership.
  • Drive best practices on the team, handle ambiguity and competing objectives, and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
  • Develop effective narratives and present them concisely and effectively to senior management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
About the Team

The Ground Systems team is developing globally located high-data-rate satellite communication terminals that operate off automated software-driven systems and maintain critical connectivity from the ground to the complete Kuiper constellation.
