This is a critical position within the Johnson Controls security business, reporting directly to a Security Sales Manager. The primary focus is to secure Planned Service Agreements with new and existing customers, serving as the subject matter expert for video services and digital services.
Key Responsibilities- Reactivate, add-on, and make minor modifications to out-of-service locations to recapture valuable recurring revenue and bring in new customers.
- Sell the complete services portfolio to new and existing customers, driving impactful activities, results, and improving attach rates.
- Work daily with district sales leaders (CSMs) to manage metrics, utilizing available dashboards and tools.
- Efficiently influence a territory and aggressively manage out-of-service locations by finding opportunities through data analysis, networking, and face-to-face marketing.
- Follow the SPIN Selling Sales Call Process to assure customers understand the value proposition and sell services and upsell products within the assigned territory.
- Target and grow existing customers with low service penetration, market and introduce JCI digital services, and utilize approved marketing materials to present sales presentations and proposals.
- Identify prospects using creative lead-generating techniques, including data mining and leveraging the Power BI RIF Database Add-on.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior-level executives.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule and be available for local travel.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry.
