Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at the Infusion Center. As a key member of our front desk team, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families by providing prompt and caring responses to their needs.
- Perform point-of-service activities, including visit preparation, co-pay collection, and patient tracking, as assigned by the supervisor.
- Schedule patient visits and diagnostic testing using hospital procedures and resources.
- Manage third-party payors and collect co-pays in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform general office duties, including faxing, copying, filing, and mailings, as needed.
- Participate in clerical and administrative cross-coverage efforts as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a general office setting and healthcare environment preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and computerized scheduling systems preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
