We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative II to join our team at Akron Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to our healthcare team, including scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families through prompt and caring responses to their needs and concerns.
  • Manage third-party payors and collect co-pays in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in cross-coverage efforts with other secretaries to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Clean and prepare exam rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required.
