Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Wound Centrics LLC. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management in various hospital and clinic settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide case management for patients with acute wounds, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA and company policies and procedures to ensure confidentiality and data security.
  • Conduct specific assessments according to protocols and procedures, demonstrating clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
  • Act as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible nursing care.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the nursing functions of patients on the unit, providing efficient and effective care with the guidance of the physician during clinic sessions.
  • Attend clinics as scheduled, demonstrating promptness and efficiency with minimal absences.
  • Manage multiple patients simultaneously, utilizing high energy and organization to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers regarding clinic and patient needs, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and resolution of patient care issues.
  • Monitor patient cases, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a current state license.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • At least 1 year of wound care experience.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and direct the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer service-oriented, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and 10-20 lbs. frequently.
