Position Overview

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively to develop policies and procedures, while also building a proficient team capable of managing substantial volumes of computer devices for end users and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver support in a distributed PC and networking environment.
  • Conduct installation, testing, repair, and troubleshooting for standalone PCs and networked systems.
  • Provide assistance for printers and other peripheral devices.
  • Engage in software installation and configuration tasks.
  • Offer technical, operational, and training support to users.
  • Configure operating systems as required.
  • Assist with loading application software and providing support via phone or on-site for desktop hardware and software packages.
  • Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer issues, performing hardware and software diagnostics.
  • Coordinate necessary repairs and resolve system-related problems.
  • Facilitate communication between users and local area network components.
  • Participate in the assessment of system configurations and software.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Ability to secure Security+ certification within six months of employment.
  • Experience in technical support, help desk, or a related field.
  • Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, peripherals, and networking devices.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
  • Knowledge of software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist users and clarify technical issues.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
