About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Sony Music Entertainment as a Digital Account Manager, where you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success in the music industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pitching and Sales: Collaborate with the team lead to identify priorities within your account base and pitch all priority releases weekly, while tracking success and providing comprehensive campaign recaps blending analytics and marketing insights.
  • Process Enhancement: Assist the team coordinator in enhancing and refining pitch processes across your designated accounts.
  • Label and Artist Support: Work with labels and internal departments to ensure artist and label plans and assets are optimized for sales and marketing opportunities within your account base.
  • Meetings and Calls: Participate in meetings and calls, contributing knowledgeable insights regarding your assigned account base, including account pitch meetings, sales team calls, and label presentations.
  • New Business Initiatives: Drive new business initiatives within your account base to maximize artist exposure including content/editorial, marketing, partnership, reporting, and day-to-day initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships across your account base to maximize opportunities for The Orchard's artists and labels.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices and developments with internal and external teams, keeping relevant resource documents updated for your assigned account base.
  • Account Management: Regularly attend shows and develop/maintain relationships with your account base.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in music partnership management.
  • Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of music streaming platforms and digital account pitch process.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines, prioritize & motivate partners.
  • Personal Qualities: An independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a keen understanding of business dynamics, thriving in high-pressure settings.
  • Passion: A strong passion for music and the music industry.
