Business Development Outside Sales Specialist

Batteries Plus - GEN Aspire, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Outside Sales Specialist to join our team in Chesapeake. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth, identify and pursue new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with existing customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, scheduled appointments, and networking events.
- Develop and execute customized sales and marketing plans to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including order management and delivery support, and collaborate with stores to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Analyze and act on commercial sales and activity reports to optimize sales performance and achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in direct sales or business-to-business sales, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Strong understanding of Google Suite, Excel, and CRM software, with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and make presentations to small groups.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required; ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
