Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market business plans to drive growth and profitability in assigned market segments.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and develop effective marketing strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Manage the introduction of new products into assigned market segments, including product development, launch, and execution.
  • Communicate product specifications to meet customer requirements and expectations, and assist in product development when required.
  • Coordinate the development of technical Safety Data Sheets (SDS's) and lead the development and execution of marketing and sales promotional plans and programs.
  • Assist in evaluating managed products in relation to competitive offerings, and communicate relevant information to sales and executive management teams.
  • Review current product portfolios and make recommendations for market strategies as necessary.
  • Establish and manage product list pricing and costs to optimize profit margins while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Track and report monthly results, including key customer updates, vendor updates, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop and forecast annual sales plans and budgets, with required interim updates.
  • Manage key vendor partnerships and develop new strategic vendor relationships for products offered in assigned market segments.
  • Assist PIC sales management and territory managers in providing product information and marketing materials to support customer needs and promote growth opportunities.
  • Closely manage and monitor specialty product inventories to optimize working capital and ensure inventory levels meet customer demands and forecasts.
  • Work with vendors, customer service, and supply chain to ensure on-time deliveries of quality products at minimal cost.
  • Oversee and manage resolution of customer and vendor complaints, inquiries, and issues.
  • Domestic and occasional international travel may be required to support product offerings and develop relationships with key vendor partners and customers.
  • Follow all applicable ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the documented Quality System.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in a business or technical related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Precision Investment Casting industry or a related field.
  • Masters/MBA in a business or technical related field is highly desirable.
  • Tactful and strong communication skills, with analytical abilities.
  • Effective use of ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other related software applications.
