Job Summary

The Director of Mental Health Outpatient Services will provide strategic direction and leadership to the mental health outpatient services department at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of programs, services, and policies to ensure high-quality care for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership and supervision to the mental health outpatient services team
• Develop and implement programs, services, and policies to meet the needs of patients and families
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff members
• Manage departmental budgets and resources
• Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, human services, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience in mental health program management, with 5+ years at the director level
• Proven experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Working Conditions

This role will be based in a normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like.
