Job Summary

The Mental Health Community Engagement Program Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders to enhance awareness of mental health services provided by Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate solutions with community partners to optimize access to mental health care and improve outcomes.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate prospective donors to secure major gifts for the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to advance access across the mental health continuum of care.
  • Establish and maintain channels of communication to build understanding and appreciation of mental health services.
  • Participate in community awareness and outreach activities, including mental health awareness month and recovery month.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as a healthcare professional in a mental health related field.
  • Experience working with children and their families, with an emphasis on evidence-based prevention, early intervention services, and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in related field.
  • Relationship-building and stewardship skills with the ability to engage and inspire donors.
  • Fundraising experience, with a focus on major gifts within the nonprofit sector.
