The Senior Sales Manager will also collaborate with the Director of Sales to oversee all sales initiatives and manage departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's operations, including Food and Beverage, Guest Services, and Reservations.
- Implement and adhere to company sales policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Achieve or surpass established sales targets and objectives.
- Manage the Sales Department within the allocated sales expense budget.
- Engage in active sales solicitation and maintain consistent communication with existing accounts.
- Conduct thorough site inspections for potential clients, showcasing the hotel's features and benefits.
- Utilize the property’s sales management system for effective business management, including report generation and account management.
- Participate in community and professional networking events to foster relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of progressive experience in hotel sales or a combination of education and relevant experience. A valid driver's license is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and company-approved software.
