JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the optimal functioning of our properties. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to high-quality service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, and appliance servicing.
  • Supporting the supervisor in managing work orders to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Responding to resident service requests and managing them through a work order system.
  • Providing training and guidance to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Coordinating and supervising both in-house and contracted maintenance work.
  • Scheduling and executing preventive maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in general plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • HVAC certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Availability for on-call duties and weekend work.
