Insurance Account Manager

Job Summary: As an Insurance Account Manager at Kraus-Anderson Incorporated, you will play a crucial role in helping the company achieve its Mission and Vision by providing exceptional customer service to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to exceed client expectations, resulting in high levels of retention and additional sales through account rounding and cross-selling. You will also guide and mentor Client Managers to ensure the achievement of greater results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Understand and actively work toward agency goals and strategies.
  2. Understand and actively round out accounts by offering additional agency services.
  3. Oversee and manage client renewals, including marketing, proposal, presentation, open enrollment, and carrier communication.
  4. Assist Producer with marketing new business.
  5. Keep Producer informed of client activities.
  6. Manage and oversee claims utilization of clients on a consistent, monthly basis.
  7. Provide ongoing customer service to assigned clients.
  8. Maintain knowledge and relationship with Carrier Representatives, Carrier websites, and Carrier Product Offerings.
  9. Maintain knowledge of State and Federal compliance.
  10. Provide other support as needed.
Committee Participation:
  • Regularly attend and participate in client-specific industry associations and programs to network and identify areas of industry opportunities.
  • Regularly attend department meetings, State of Agency meetings, and others as assigned/invited.
