Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Funding Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Funding department, you will be responsible for ensuring loan packages meet our quality standards, verifying customer information, and providing exceptional support to our dealer partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify loan packages submitted by dealers meet our quality standards
  • Conduct phone verification of personal references and employment information for prospective clients
  • Verify the accuracy of all information provided during the application process and funding process
  • Collect and manage incoming faxes from dealerships
  • Provide regular updates to dealerships regarding the status of their funding packages
  • Conduct final funding interviews with prospective clients
  • Manage and support dealerships' expectations and communication
  • Assist other funding associates as needed
  • Report and discuss with the Funding Manager any potential risk flags not previously known
  • Work with the funding team to meet our weekly and monthly targets

Requirements

  • Spanish/Portuguese fluency
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking or auto lending
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to travel domestically for up to one week at a time, twice per year, for company-sponsored training and team-building initiatives
